A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Floris Bosveld is a creative; mainly working in the field of dance, choreography and as a performer.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, Groningen. At age thirteen, Floris got in contact with dance through his sister. Since that moment Floris for over years took different kind of classes, he started teaching dance himself and at one point he was very much sure about him ‘being a performer’.

At age of eighteen Floris competed on the third season of the internationally known tv-show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ in the Netherlands and won the season in 2010.

In 2013, after finishing high-school, Floris moved to Amsterdam where different opportunities opened up. Possibilities to learn about what the professional dance industry was all about. Floris worked on theater productions, corporate shows, tv-shows, commercials and a movie. Floris at that point already knew he loved dance, but discovered around that period in his live,
that also acting, presenting, and creating, is a form of art he was very willing to study and develop more.

In 2014 Floris moved to the United States, Las Vegas to work on the Michael Jackson ONE show by Cirque Du Soleil. After working on this show for a year Floris moved to Los Angeles, mostly for his career.Los Angeles has given Floris some amazing opportunities. Floris workedwith different kind of artists likeSIA, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Hudson and more.
After years of living abroad, making memories, and growing as an artist/performer, Floris decided to come back to Holland. With a backpack full of experiences and (artistic) knowledge, he is very much interested to see what he can bring to the different stages of his motherland. Floris is a humble, hard-working, and creative guy, who likes to keep it real if it comes to his art and creating process. He is very easy to work with, and very open to new challenges and concepts. Floris loves to be the creator, as much as he loves to be the performer. With some humor, lots of passion and dedication, Floris is a multitalented artist.

Floris does not really like to be put in a box if it comes to his dance (choreographing) style and identity. Floris just needs to feel and understand the music or ‘conversation’ so that he can make any type of body language for whatever kind of production, choreography, or movie.
